When should the Vicarbo Screw be used?

The Vicarbo Screw is intended for final restoration and may only be used once.

 

What is the maximum tightening torque for the Vicarbo Screw?

The tightening torque is 25 Ncm. A trial fitting with a maximum tightening torque of 15 Ncm is possible. Here you will find a video tutorial on how to tighten a Vicarbo Screw correctly.

 

Does the Vicarbo Screw need to be sterilised?

Yes. The Vicarbo Screw must be sterilised before its first use in a patient's mouth. Steam sterilisation should be carried out at 132 °C / 270 °F or 134 °C / 274 °F. Duration: 18 minutes.

 

What material is the Vicarbo Screw made of? Why is it black? 

The Vicarbo Screw is made of PEEK reinforced with longitudinal carbon fibres. The carbon fibres give the Vicarbo Screw its colour.

 

In welchem Fall verwendet man die Try-In Screw?

The Try-In Screw (colour: turquoise) may only be used for try-in in the lab and not in the patient's mouth or for final screw retention.

 

What is the correct tightening torque for the Try-In Screw?

The tightening torque is 5 Ncm.

 

When is the Provisional Screw used?

The Provisional Screw (recognisable by three grooves in the screw head) may only be used for scan bodies and temporary restorations.

 

The tightening torque is 15 Ncm.
