The operators of this website are committed to protecting your personal data. All of your personal data is considered confidential and handled in accordance with data protection legislation and this Privacy Policy.

We work together with our hosting providers to ensure that databases are protected to the greatest possible extent against external access, loss, abuse or falsification.

Please note that not all methods of transferring data online are completely secure. For this reason, it is not possible to completely guarantee that your data will not be accessed by third parties.

By using this website, you grant your consent for data to be collected, processed and used as described below. This website can be visited without the need for registration. Some data is stored on the server for statistical purposes without being linked directly to you as an individual. This includes data like the pages that you visit, the names of any files which are downloaded, and the date and time of your visit. Whenever possible, personal data, and in particular names, addresses and email addresses, are collected on a voluntary basis. Data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

Processing of personal data

Personal data is all information relating to an identified or identifiable person. A data subject is a person about whom personal data is processed. Processing comprises any operation involving personal data, irrespective of the means and procedures used, and in particular the retention, disclosure, collection, deletion, storage, modification, destruction and use of personal data.

We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. Moreover, insofar as the EU GDPR is applicable, we process data according to the following legal framework, in the context of Art. 6(1) GDPR::

  • a) processing personal data with the consent of the data subject.
  • b) processing personal data to perform a contract with the data subject as well as to take steps prior to entering into a contract.
  • c) processing personal data to fulfil a legal obligation to which we are subject in accordance with any applicable law of the EU or in accordance with any applicable law of a country in which the GDPR is fully or partially applicable.
  • d) processing personal data in order to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person.
  • f) processing personal data to safeguard our legitimate rights or of third parties, provided this does not outweigh the fundamental rights, fundamental freedoms and interests of the data subject. Legitimate interests are, in particular, our business interest in being able to provide our website, information security, the enforcement of our own legal claims and compliance with Swiss law.

We process personal data for the period required for the respective purpose or purposes. If personal data is subject to longer retention periods due to legal and other obligations to which we are subject, we restrict the processing accordingly.

Privacy Policy for cookies

This website uses cookies. These are small text files which enable specific user-related information to be stored on the device of the user while the website is used. Cookies enable us, in particular, to determine the frequency of use and number of users of the website and to analyse website usage patterns. Cookies can also be deactivated in the browser settings. Please note that this may cause some functions of this website to be unavailable.

Privacy Policy for SSL/TLS encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transfer of confidential content, such as, for example, the enquiries which you send us as the website operator. When SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data which you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Google AdWords

This website uses Google conversion tracking. If you reach our website through an advert displayed by Google, Google AdWords places a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an advert displayed by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits specific pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, both we and Google can recognise that the user has clicked on the advert and has been redirected to this website. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies therefore cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained with the aid of cookies is used to produce conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are informed of the total number of users who have clicked on their advert and have been redirected to a site provided with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information which they could use to personally identify the user.

If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can reject the setting of a cookie required for this - either by configuring your browser to automatically reject cookies, or by configuring your browser so that cookies from the domain "googleadservices.com" are blocked.

Please note that you cannot delete opt-out cookies if you do not wish measurement data to be recorded. If you have deleted all of your cookies in your browser, you will need to set the respective opt-out cookie again.

Use of Google Remarketing

This website uses the remarketing function provided by Google Inc. This function is used to provide visitors to the site with interest-based advertisements within the Google advertising network. The browser of the website visitor saves a cookie which is used to recognise the visitor whenever they visit a website which is part of the Google advertising network. These websites can then provide the visitor with advertisements related to content which was previously accessed by the visitor on websites which use the Google remarketing function.

Google has stated that it does not collect any personal data for this purpose. If you wish to opt out of the remarketing function, you can deactivate it at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. You can also deactivate the cookies used to provide interest-based advertisements through the advertising network by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.

Use of Google reCAPTCHA

This website uses the reCAPTCHA service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). This service is used to determine whether an input is made by a human or by means of automated, machine-based processing. This includes sending the IP address and any additional data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. Your entry is transferred to Google for this purpose, and further used there. However, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of this service. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of reCAPTCHA will not be combined with other data by Google. If necessary, your data will also be transmitted to the USA. An adequacy decision of the European Commission, the "Privacy Shield", exists for data transmissions to the USA. Google is a participant in "Privacy Shield" and is subject to the provisions. By using the service, you consent to the processing of your data. The processing is based on Art. 6 (1)a of GDPR with your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time without this affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent before it was revoked.

The information related to the use of our site (including your IP address) collected by the cookie is normally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Please note that on this website, Google Analytics has been extended using the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" to ensure that IP addresses are collected anonymously (so-called IP masking). If the anonymisation is active, Google truncates IP addresses within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, making it impossible to identify you as an individual. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google complies with the data protection requirements of the Privacy Shield Agreement and is registered with the Department of Commerce's Privacy Shield Programme. Data protection provisions regarding the application and use of Getty Images

The controller has integrated components provided by the company Getty Images into this website. Getty Images is an American photo agency. A photo agency is a company which markets photos and other visual material. Photo agencies usually market photographs, illustrations and film material. Photo agencies licence images to customers, the majority of which are website operators, print and TV editorial teams and advertising agencies.

The Getty Images component is operated by Getty Images International, 1st Floor, The Herbert Building, The Park, Carrickmines, Dublin 18, Ireland.

Getty Images is used to embed stock images. Embedding is the integration of external content, e.g. text, video or images, provided by an external website so that it then appears on a different website. Embedding content involves the use of an embed code. An embed code is a piece of HTML code which is integrated by a website operator into a website. If a website operator uses an embed code, the external content is normally displayed immediately as soon as a webpage is visited. The external content is loaded directly from the other website. For additional information about embedding content from Getty Images, please refer to https://www.gettyimages.co.uk/resources/embed. The technical implementation of the embed code used to display images from Getty Images ensures that the IP address used by the data subject to access our website is provided to Getty Images. Getty Images also collect information about our website, the browser type, the browser language and the time and duration of the visit. Getty Images can also collect navigation information. This is information about which pages were visited by the data subject and which links were clicked, in addition to other interactions performed by the data subject when visiting our website. This data can be stored and evaluated by Getty Images.

For additional information and the relevant data protection provisions of Getty Images, please refer to https://www.gettyimages.de/company/privacy-policy.

Contractual services

We process the data of our contractual partners, potential customers and clients (referred to jointly as contractual partners) in accordance with the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act and the EU GDPR pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR in order to provide contractual services and take steps prior to entering into contracts. The underlying contractual relationship determines the data which is processed for this purpose, as well as the nature, scope, purpose and necessity of the processing.

The processed data includes the master data of our contractual partners (e.g. names and addresses), contact information (e.g. email addresses and telephone numbers), contractual information (e.g. services requested, content of contracts, communication related to contracts, names of contact partners) and payment information (e.g. bank details, payment history).

We do not process special categories of personal data unless they are part of a commissioned or contractual processing arrangement.

We process data which is required in order to establish and perform contractual services and state that this information is required if this is not evident for contractual partners. Data is only disclosed to external parties when it is necessary to do so for the purpose of a contract. All data which is provided to us in the context of an order is processed in accordance with the instructions of the client and statutory requirements.

Whenever our online services are used, we may store the IP address of the user and the time at which the service is used. This information is stored to serve our legitimate interests and to protect the information of the user against abuse and other unauthorised use. This data is not passed on to third parties unless it is necessary to do so in order to enforce our claims in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR or if we are legally obliged to do so in accordance with Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.

The data will be deleted when it is no longer required in order to for us to fulfil our contractual or statutory duty of care or for the purpose of warranty obligations or similar obligations. The need to retain data is reviewed at regular intervals. Statutory retention periods also apply.

Transmission of data to the USA

Please note that users based in Switzerland are subject to supervisory measures imposed by the US authorities which allow for the storage of all personal data which is transmitted from Switzerland to the USA.

This is done without differentiation, restriction or exception with respect to the aim pursued and without an objective criterion that would make it possible to restrict the US authorities' access to data and its subsequent use to very specific, strictly limited purposes which justify the interference associated with both access to, and use, of such data. Furthermore, we would like to point out that, in the USA, there are no legal remedies available to data subjects from Switzerland that would allow them to gain access to the data concerning them and to obtain its correction or deletion, and that there is no effective legal protection against the general access rights of US authorities. We explicitly point out this legal and factual situation to the data subject so that they can make an appropriately informed decision to consent to the use of their data.

Users residing in an EU Member State are advised that the USA does not have an adequate level of data protection from the point of view of the European Union.
