The 11th edition of the Zeramex Meet & Learn training series will feature a lecture entitled “Ceramics in Dental Applications: Material Properties, Biological Advantages and Future Technologies” by Dr. Ina Lackner, Scientific Affairs Manager at CeramTec Group. A special highlight of the program is the exhibition “CeramTec: 50 Years in Ceramic Implant Dentistry”, complemented by hands-on training sessions and a guided production tour.

Dr. Ina Lackner, Scientific Affair Manager, CeramTec Group
Dr. Ina Lackner is Scientific Affairs Manager at CeramTec GmbH's Medical Products Division. She has a PhD in Molecular Medicine, and her background is cell biology, specifically immunology. Prior to joining CeramTec, she was doing research on the systemic inflammatory response following severe trauma at the University Hospitals of Ulm and Erlangen. As a Postdoctoral Visiting Fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, she investigated IL-2 signaling in CD8 T cells and its potential immunotherapeutic applications. At CeramTec, she is responsible for the design and management of preclinical and scientific studies. Her work focuses on generating scientific evidence for biomaterials used in total joint replacement and dental implantology, supporting both the scientific foundation of existing products and the development of novel innovative materials.
Dr. Ina Wüstefeld, Managing Director, CeramTec Schweiz GmbH
Dr. Ina Wüstefeld has many years of experience in Medical Scientific Affairs and has held various commercial leadership roles throughout her career, most recently as Vice President Global Regulatory & Medical Scientific Affairs (Germany). Dr. Wüstefeld holds a doctorate in dentistry and a Master of Business Administration.
